<p>The lovely people in <a title="ebow" href="http://ebow.ie" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/ebow.ie');" target="_blank">ebow</a> employed my services earlier this year to work on the creative &amp; strategy of the pitch for the GAA digital account. Now I&#8217;m no die hard GAA fan and I&#8217;ve only been to one game in Croke Park. I have watched it a few times in random pubs around the country but each time I&#8217;ve been amazed and delighted by the infectious atmosphere. The game is so steeped in Irish history and culture. Anyway I was delighted with the opportunity to be involved in the pitch.</p>
<p>We created a portal page concept supported by a dynamic template that could be easily adapted for the 500+ websites &amp; CMS&#8217;s. The portal page approach allowed us to define and divide users as soon as they arrived at the homepage. By grouping content into 8 main sections based on users needs, we then directed them straight to those areas within the site. The rest of page could then be dedicated to the GAA brand.</p>

<p>We proposed photography in the background depicting dramatic moments from the games was animated and ran through a selection of similiarly styled shots. The animated photography, combined with the celtic pattern created an atmospheric look and feel, connotating the drama and passion of the games.</p>
<p>Pitching to the GAA board overlooking the Croke Park Stadium was an amazing experience. The GAA were impressed with our pitch, saying that no other contender had proposed the portal concept which allowed them to champion their brand aswell as clearly displaying alot of content. ebow was awarded the GAA digital account! Success.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In early 2009 The Beagle Campaign was created to challenge The Royal Geographical Society. It was felt that the Society&#8217;s decision to abandon    large-scale field expeditions to remote parts of the globe in favour of    supporting smaller geographical research projects carried out by various    institutions, was a betrayal of its original spirit and purpose.</p>
<p>F+M were approached to create the website as the focus point for the campaign, along with offline support it aimed to educate the public about its proposed resolution and to generate more support. With the use of some stunning photography by Nicholas Cheetham we created an efficient CMS driven website which successfully employed Twitter, Facebook and emails to spread its message. In less then 60 days The Beagle Campaign managed to gain 1,600 supporters and is currently plotting next steps.</p>

<p>In 2008 F+M were asked to develop the existing Secret Cinema look and feel and create a website that effeciently catered for the events &amp; they’re audiences. We successfully launched a CMS driven website in early May which is managed by SC.</p>

Future Cinema creates large scale cinematic experiences, fusing feature film with music, theatre and live performance. The company is famed for taking audiences on a multi-sensory ride and regularly produces &#8220;Don&#8217;t Miss&#8221; events across the country.</p>
<p>Recent events include Watchmen, where audiences were transported to an alternative New York, a 50s fantasy land complete with a Gunga diner, installations, and live music from punk rock band Gallows, Rock &#8216;n&#8217; Rolla where seOne Club was transformed into a world of East End villains, gorgeous dancers, addled rock stars and seedy hideouts &amp;  Funny Face shown where London&#8217;s Royal Academy of Arts was transformed into a place of culture and refinement with ladies in elegant dresses, brass bands playing the classics and impromptu fashion shoots.</p>

<p>The brief was to create a CMS driven website that allowed the rich content to be the star of show. A black background mimics a cinematic atmosphere and combined with contemporary typography creates a professional easy to navigate website.</p>
<p>We launched the website in February 2009 and its managed by FC.</p>

They asked us to get involved in creating and developing their webshop with their first product, their DVD “Adventures in Short Film Vol 1”. The DVD features the very best short films &amp; music videos from all over the world - definitely worth the 10 quid! We are currently developing the webshop with more products which will be launched in early 2009.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>eWaterways is an international company which specialises in providing water based holidays such as river cruises, barging, sailing trips, expedition cruises and yachting. Ciara Meaney and Ross Baird were appointed as the design team to create the brand identity and develop their online presence. For the identity we focused on the concept of travelling through water by ship. We created an icon that represents this ever changing environment, by placing these shapes within a circle we suggested a porthole of a barge, a ship or a yacht. The overall feel of the identity is of a solid visionary company.</p>

<p><span id="more-173"></span>We then created the look and feel for 2 of the eWaterway websites, one the consumer facing website which focused on selling water holidays (ewaterways.com) and one which focused on registering shipowners worldwide (ewaterways.ssr.com). The consumer website was given a bright aspirational look and feel featuring holidays and special offers.</p>

<p>The Shipowners register website was given a more business look and feel and focused on the benefits of registering. Email templates were developed for each website, service emails and special offer emails each one was easily updated and reflected the websites look &amp; feel.</p>
