Fresh + Mean was created in 2008 by Ciara Meaney after she broke free from agency employment and followed some direct to client work. She was hungry for more direct client relationships and to see what all the freelance fuss was about. Shortly after this Ciara joined forces with Web Architect extraordinaire John D Wells which meant Fresh + Mean could offer a flexible service which was more scalable to client needs. Ciara and John work together when they can but both work on an independent basis too.

Since 2008 Fresh + Mean have worked with Offscreen, 2041, Future Shorts,
Future Cinema, Secret Cinema, Gymbox, The Beagle Campaign,
eWaterways, Charles Tyrrell and Hands On Furniture.


A bit more about Ciara Meaney.

Ciara Meaney is a Digital Art Director who has over 8 years experience working on brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff,
T-Mobile, Vaseline, Flora, British Airways, eBay and Jo Malone. She started her career working in the big smoke of Ireland, Dublin. There she got some of the best experience working for the innovative design agency ebow. In 2006 she moved to London to gain more experience in the even bigger smoke. She worked for TMW for a few years cutting her digital teeth on some great accounts. Highlights included winning 2 grand Prix’s for Guinness and being Digital Brand Guardian for
T-Mobile Music. Ciara is currently employed as an Art Director for StoryWorldwide.
